This tropical gradient consists of two of the shades from Zoya Sunset Collection, the tangerine orange Cam and the pink/red Dixie. These saturated cremes are a pleasure to use in nail art and they blended perfectly in the gradient.
I decorated the gradient with shards from a shattered glass nail film from BPS. Everything looks good with this lazer film on top but you have to take care when applying this kind of foil with regular polish. I use a thick top coat in two coats and press down the shards with an orange stick. The shards needs to be incapsulated in top coat to lie flat on the nail.

CND has crated a new series of regular nail polish called Creative Play and am trying out the three step system of base coat, polish and top coat. The Creative Play line already consists of 80 colors in different finishes and I have two of them, a pink and a yellow creme.
CND Bubba Glam
CND Taxi, Please
Taxi, Please is a warm yellow creme. I like this shade of NY taxi cab yellow. I used three coats but I believe two is enough with short nails.
I like the base and top coat from this line and has used it for most of my manis after swatching these. The base coat is a bit milky which covers up stains a bit and the top coat is glossy and dries pretty fast. The whole three step system was durable on my nails, I had one mani for 7 days without any chipping. But the recommendations is to use this line when you want the wear of regular polish and the CND Vinylux system when you want the mani to last a week. Another difference between Vinylux and Crative Play is the brush. Vinylux has a flat brush while these have a cylindrical and smaller brush.
The Creative Play line is for professionals only so these are supposed to be a salon product but I'm sure that they will be available for everyone if you just look around for them online.
CND call these lacquers 7-free. They contain no toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, phthalates (DBP), formaldehyde resin, xylene, and methyl ethyl ketone (MEK).

Remember Ozonic and the scattered holo duochromes? The Scatter Chromes was released in 2012 and I loved them and all other Ozotics. But I had forgot about them for a long time. Today I brought out Ozotic Scatter Chrome 915 from the stash and made it my base color for some nail art. This is a pale green to turquoise duo chrome and still a very pretty polish.
After the base of the scatter chrome polish I sponged another Ozonic on the tips, the green gold duo chrome, Ozotic 507, and stamped a leaf pattern in a dark green creme. I finished the design with some holo gold glitter and rhinestones.

I've got 10 sheets of the most beautiful water decals from Nicole Diary to show you, and I feel quite overwhelmed by the thought of doing full manis with all of them, because I don't think I would want to remove them once I have them on. That's why I decided to do quick thumb swatches of them all in two parts. And after that I can feel free to use them more creatively in my nail art.

Here are the instructions from Nicole Diary on how to use the decals for those of you who never used water decals (knowing that you have to remove a thin plastic film before you use them is an important part):
Using water decals is easy and fun and these decals where no exception, they where also of really good quality and the colors and patterns are lovely. They all have transparent parts, except no. 24, so you can chose your base color. Not getting wrinkles is always hard with full nail water decals but don't worry about that because that's usually not noticeable once you top coated it.

These chameleon rhinestones from Born Pretty Store are very pretty and very tiny. They come in many sizes and the ones I'm reviewing are the smallest size SS3, which is1.3 mm. They shift mostly from green to pink. I have them in a much bigger size too and I decided to use them both in this mani.
The base color is Zoya Dixie, the watermelon shade from the Sunset Collection, topped with the unicorn pee (color shifting shimmer) dupe from Nail Pattern Boldness. And the ring finger nail is topped with Zoya Daul, a gold shimmer in a sheer purple base.
Color-shifting rhinestones are gorgeous but what I like most about these are the mini size, which can be hard to find. Most rhinestones are at least 2mm but these are only 1.3mm. This means you can wear them as long as you want, if you secure them with top coat they won't fall off.
